"Every healthy relationship is made up of two good forgivers." - Peacemaker Ministries
That is me and Trever in a nutshell. Two people bumbling around, making mistakes, loving imperfectly. And at the end of the day, the glue that makes us stick together is forgiveness.
The Bible says it this way: "Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath." (Ephesians 4:26) I think it best expresses true love in the thirteenth chapter of First Corinthians, where, amongst other beautiful adjectives, love is defined as being "patient", "kind", "gentle", "faithful" and "long-suffering". Can you really be any of those things without being willing to forgive?
Just wanted to encourage you to forgive. And to remind myself as well.
