My husband took me out to have dinner tonight. I was good just to make myself get up and dressed and out of the house. We has dinner, cocktails, and came home after a good bit of kissing in the car and daring anyone to watch us. I finished Fight Back With Joy yesterday and finished Velva Jean Learns To Drive today.
There were some underline-worthy sections in FBWJ, but over all, it fell flat for me. I'm not sure why. VJLTD was lovely. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
