Today I am 38 weeks pregnant. I have no reason to feel surprised, really. With my last three pregnancies, even the ones with which I experienced some preterm labor and was put on bedrest, I still managed to make it to 39 weeks. I just find it a bit ironic that things can start up so early and the drag on for so long before anything really HAPPENS.

I started reading The Rare Jewel of Christian Contentment. So far, so good. I can tell it is really a book I need to read. It is so easy to get discontented in our culture. And in truth, we have so much to be grateful for. Sometimes our blessings become burdens when our heart attitude is not right.
